Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admitted he was disappointed after his side were held to a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage by Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday .
The 42-year-old Spaniard said: “I am very disappointed not to win the game. Overall we controlled the game from start to finish. We did everything we wanted to do during the game and unfortunately we conceded an early goal. But the way the team played and the way the team wanted to win after that was incredible.”
“I think we were very unlucky not to win the game and that’s what was disappointing. We had good momentum, the team played well, หรือถ้าคุณสนใจแทงบอลออนไลน์ UFABET คือเว็บที่มีอัตราต่อรองดีที่สุดในประเทศไทย สมัครเลยตอนนี้ที่ UFABET แทงบอล we won a lot of games and today we wanted to do it again, but it didn’t work out even though we showed 100 percent effort.”
Despite the frustration, Arteta remains focused on improvement. “We cannot feel sorry for ourselves,” he emphasised. “We had a really good performance against a strong team. Now we have to continue to improve and ensure the opposition have zero chances to win. That’s the objective.”
“We had chances to win, but this is football, it’s unpredictable and sometimes the little differences can have an impact,” Arteta concluded.
For Arsenal, they are still in third place in the standings, six points behind leaders Liverpool, but have played one more game.
