‘Something in me told me I needed a different challenge, to look for something new in my career,’ Alvarez told Argentine outlet.
‘The last conversation with Pep was positive. He thanked me for everything and I never caused any problems for the club.’
‘You always want to play in the most important games. I thought about the Champions League final when I didn’t play.’
‘I don’t play much in finals, I prefer to play in those types of games, that’s why I think about making a change.’
